Transportation from the Denver International Airport

Super Shuttle runs from the Denver International Airport to the Millennium Hotel every hour at 10 minutes past the hour from 8:10 AM - 12:10 midnight.  You may make a reservation at www.supershuttle.com, or by calling 1-800-525-3177. After picking up their luggage, guests should go to the SuperShuttle counter on Level 5 of DIA's West Terminal (same floor as luggage). They will pick up their ticket and be directed to the shuttle.  The cost is $25 one-way or $50 for a round-trip ticket.

Driving to Boulder from the Denver International Airport

The fastest and less congested route is E-470 and the Northwest Parkway which is a toll-road. To access the E-470/Northwest Parkway, exit the airport and shortly after you pass the rental cars exit turn right onto E-470 (going west – toward Ft. Collins). E-470 becomes the Northwest Parkway after it crosses I-25. Follow the highway to the end and continue, taking US-36 West to Boulder.  US-36 turns into 28th street.  The Millennium Hotel in on the left after you cross over Colorado Blvd.

E-470/Northwest Parkway is a cashless toll road so you do not stop at toll stations.  License plates are read by cameras and the registered owner of the vehicle is billed. Rental car companies register their license plates with ExpressToll so their renters' tolls will be applied to the rental agreement.  Private owners will be billed at the address where the vehicle is registered.  Citations for toll violations will be assessed for bills not paid.

Getting to Boulder via other driving routes

From the North take I-25 south to exit 240, State Highway 119. Drive west on 119 for approximately 22 miles to Boulder. (Follow signs to stay on 119, which jogs south and merges briefly with US 287).

From the South take I-25 north through downtown Denver to US Highway 36. This is not a typical exit ramp; rather, the roads split, with US 36 veering left, or west (so be in the left lanes as you approach). US 36 will take you directly to Boulder (approximately 20 miles).

From the East take I-70 going west. Take exit 279 onto I-270 North/US-36. Follow signs for US-36, which will take you straight to Boulder.

From the West take 1-70 east. After passing Idaho Springs, get off at exit 244 which will put you on US Highway 6 heading east. As you approach the city of Golden, look for signs for State Highway 93. Take 93 north all the way to Boulder, about 20 miles.
