Heliophysics Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
Hosts and applicants are invited to a new postdoctoral fellowship program designed to train the next generation of researchers in the emerging field of Heliophysics. The program is sponsored by the NASA Living With a Star (LWS) program and administered by the UCAR Visiting Scientist Programs office.

Heliophysics Summer School 
The Heliophysics Summer School series was designed to teach this fast-developing field of research for the first time as a coherent intellectual discipline. The school will educate about 120 students and 24 teachers during the three-year program. The program focuses on select fundamental plasma-physical processes behind many aspects of the space weather, includes energetic-particle generation and effects, and addresses the climate systems formed by the solar dynamo and the Earth atmosphere. A series of three textbooks will be produced and used at universities around the nation.
